Medford Lakes Country Club encourages participation from our Junior Golf Members. There is an active Junior Interclub Match Program that is chaired by Mrs. Barbara Schwait and includes youths from age 9 and up. Junior matches are played against Medford Village, Tavistock, MFC, and LMCC.
   Another fun program for our Juniors is the very successful Junior Camp which is under the direction of Brad Hare, our Assistant Golf Professional.

Dress Code:
Nice shorts or slacks
No jeans, cargo, cutoffs,
or extremely baggy Collared Shirts
MUST be tucked in
Hats - Brim facing forward,
NO backward hats,
Must be removed in dining room

Sign In:
All golfers must sign in
the Pro Shop before tee off
Course Rules:
Have Fun
NO cell phones on the course,
parking lot and locker room only.
Let faster players play through.
Repair all damage to the course,
all divots and ball marks.
Never throw or bang clubs.
Stand quietly and safely
away from players hitting.
Rake sand after play in bunkers,
Leave rake in bunkers parallel to line of play.
Do not put golf bags directly on greens or tees.
Record your score on the next tee, not on the green.
Don't walk or stand in another players putting line.
Repair your ball mark and one other.
Do not enter environmental area.

Players will compete in appropriate age divisions.

Junior Golf Schedule
Junior Fun-Friendly Tournaments
This year in conjunction with Sundaes on Sundays,
we will be offering fun, informal tournaments
for all of our junior members.
These tournaments will give all of
our junior members the opportunity to
compete in a fun non-threatening
environment. This is a great first step
for juniors who are not quite ready for
the pressure of the Junior Golf Team.
Many different prizes will be
given throughout the year.

Junior Clinics
Many MLCC members have asked about the Junior Golf Tour which I started last season.
The South Jersey Junior Tour is a summer tournament series which holds 10-12 events
at public and private courses in our area, including Medford Lakes CC.
Junior golfers of all abilities, ages 7-18 are welcome to play.

We had a successful first season with over 100 juniors from 21 different local towns.
We expect that number to grow even bigger in 2010.
Keep your eye out for upcoming newspaper ads,in the Central Record,
Burlington County Times, and Courier Post.
